What to Do When You Have School Tomorrow
I'm shivering despite having an extra layer of a hoodie and blanket on inside, yet my face keeps getting really hot. My lower right back seriously aches, even though I've had a heat pad on it for several hours, and I've got a horrible headache. I also feel sluggish and tired, and am finding it hard to eat despite having eaten very little. I desperately want to go to school tommorow to learn and not get behind. But going in could just make me feel worse and make it harder to learn... I really want to go to school though... Advice?
Hey! If I were you I would take the day off tomorrow - or at least the morning.
If you go into school tomorrow feeling the same the chances are you are going to make yourself feel worse and end up taking more days off later on - I'm sure one day wouldn't go a miss, and your health is more important.
It's your choice, but I would say if you feel the same in the morning, don't go in
Oh! And I hope you feel better really soon <3
First I would say you should keep trying to eat, I know it's hard when your stomach is tell you nooooooo, but yah gotta say yes. And maybe you could not go into school, but email all of your teachers asking them what work is going to be going on, then you can read into it in your cozy bed tomorrow instead and see them the next day you are in school to ask for any help on things you didn't understand.

Y-yeah, not going in may actually be a good idea. I've gone to bed so I also have to duvet to keep me warm, and I just feel I'm getting worse. Ill try to eat later... Damnit, I'm meant to be going to the cinema with my dad soon, and I don't see him that often. He might say going out and getting fresh air will help too... Ahh, I don't wanna move though.
Sounds like you've got a viral infection, there's a lot of bugs about at the moment. have you taken anything for it yet?
I've only had a lemsip, I'll ask someone to bring me something. **** now I also feel like an ******** for cancelling on my dad. I know he's disappointed, I'm such a prick.
Don't go into school. Take one day to fully recover! Take paracetamol every 4-5 hours to relieve your symptoms. It is better to miss a day rather than struggle to concentrate and cope throughout the day, getting yourself more ill/stressed and perhaps others around you too! :{ I'm sure if you ask your teachers what you have missed they will see you as a sensible student, and you won't fall behind on work! Wish you a speedy recovery.

If you want to go to school then you can go, I find when I get to school I forget how I feel and I perk up a bit, providing you don't feel worse than you do already of course. If you still feel bad then just go home, at least you attempted to go! If you do go home, or don't go in at all, just e-mail your teachers asking for your work, or what pages in your textbooks to look at. Then catch up in your free periods or at home if you are bored. That's how I stay caught up with my work if I'm ill. Your teachers will also see that as very productive and you never know.. a good nights sleep may be the cure you need, you may feel better in the morning anyway Don't feel bad about having a day off though, sometimes we need it every once in a while when we are run down.
